New Delhi : The number of Coronavirus (COVID-19) patients cured/discharged jumped to 64,425 in India at 8 am on May 27, 2020, an increase of 3,935 during last 24 hours clearly indicating a good recovery rate. COVID-19 death toll has climbed to 4,337 in India, an increase of 170 during last 24 hours. Maharashtra alone accounts for 1,792 deaths. The number of active cases is 8,3004.
Altogether 16,954 Coronavirus patients have been cured/discharged in Maharashtra followed by 9,342 in Tamilnadu, 7,223 in Delhi and 7,139 in Gujarat. A total of 4,171 patients have been cured in Rajasthan while the figure stands at 3,689 in MP and 3,698 in UP. In Bihar, 900 patients have been cured/discharged while in Jharkhand 175 patients have been cured.
