Ara : Six persons were injured in an exchange of fire between two groups at village Zamira under Ara Muffasil police station in Bhojpur district on August 27, 2019. The injured were admitted to the Ara Sadar Hospital.
An FIR has been lodged by Ara Muffasil police station in connection with the incident but police are yet to arrest any accused The injured were identified as Jitan Paswan and his sons : Shailendra Paswan and Nagendra Paswan from one side and Suraj Paswan, his brother Rakesh Paswan and their aunt Geeta Devi from another side.
SHO, Ara Muffassil police station, said that two groups clashed over playing of songs on loudspeaker on August 27 morning at village Zamira village that took an ugly turn within hours and both the groups exchanged fire in which at least six persons including a woman were seriously injured from both sides.
