Ara : Excise Department sleuths led by Inspector Durgesh Kumar and Bhojpur police jointly conducted raids at village Bhadwar under Koelwar police station and Chandi Musahari village under Chandi police station on April 24, 2018, and seized Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) in large quantity and also arrested six liquor smugglers.
Two named FIR were lodged with Koelwar and Chandi police station separately under the New Excise Act against the arrested persons and theywere sent them to jail.
Police also Conducted raid at Ara railway station and seized 80 bottles of IMFL but the liquor smugglers escaped from the spot.
