Patna : Six members of a family were killed and 3 others injured when an SUV they were travelling by collided head-on with a truck on Kosi Bridge NH 31 under Kursela police station (PS) in Katihar District in Eastern Bihar on February 23, 2021, morning. Both the SUV and truck were in great speed.
The three injured were rushed to Primary Health Centre (PHC), Kursela, from where they were referred to Purnia for treatment, The family was returning to Rosera in Samastipur District in North Bihar from village Phulwaria under Kodha PS in Katihar District after an engagement ritual. Police seized the truck but its driver escaped after the accident, according to police sources.
