6 criminals loot Rs 75,000 from Gas Agency staff in Saharsa

Saharsa : Six criminals riding three bikes looted Rs 75,000 cash from an employee of a Gas Agency, Asha Bharat Gas Godown, Shahpur, Santosh Kumar Singh at gun point near  Chhoti Parsaha under Sadar Police Station, Saharsa, in broad daylight on July 21, 2017 and escaped unchallenged.

Santosh Kumar Singh said that he was going to Saharsa from Shahpur on an autorickshaw to deposit Rs 75,000 in a  bank there. There were two women passengers also in the three-wheeler. As soon as the auto reached near Parsaha, six armed criminals riding three bikes surrounded it and asked him and the two women: Sangita Devi and Shakuntala Devi,  to get down from the vehicle and snatched his bag containing the cash and escaped. Santosh informed the Sadar police station about the incident.

SDPO Subodh Biswas and SHO, Sadar Police Station, Bhai Bharat,reached the spot to inquire into the incident. SDPO Biswas also spokes to an eye witness Mukesh Sah, a farmer. Police are conducting raids to arrest the six criminals.
