Gopalganj: Bail petitions of the six accused of Khajurbanni hooch tragedy in Gopalganj district were filed in the court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM), Gopalaganj, on Thursday. The court fixed the next date of hearing on Friday.
Ved Prakash Tiwary, lawyer of jailed accused: Chatu Pasi, Rajesh Pasi, Sanoj Pasi, Sanjay Pasi, Ranjan Pasi and Munna Pasi, filed the bail petitions in the court with the case (number-348/2016), lodged with the Town police station. It may be mentioned here that earlier, the CJM court had rejected their bail petitions in connection with recovery of liquor from their houses on September 2 in a separate case.
