New Delhi : A total of 58,323 COVID-19 patients were declared patients were declared cured/discharged in India during last 24 hours taking the tally to 76,03,121 at 8 am on November 3, 2020, exceeding the number of active cases (5,41.405) by a massive margin of 70,61,716. The country, on the other hand, recorded 38,310 new COVID-19 cases during last 24 hours taking the tally of cases recorded so far to 82,67,623. The country had recorded 45,231 cases on November 2, 2020. The number of active cases was 6.55% of the total cases recorded till date 82,67,623 on November 3, 2020, dropping 20,503 cases.
Of the 82,67,623 COVID-19 cases recorded till date, altogether 76,03,121 patients have been declared cured with the recovery rate being 91.96%. India has tested 11,17,89,350 samples so far including 10,46,247 samples on November 2, 2020.
The COVID-19 toll climbed to 1,23,097 on November 3, 2020, with 490 new deaths being reported from different places during last 24 hours including 104 from Maharashtra, 58 from Chhattisgarh, 57 from West Bengal, 42 from Delhi, 31 from Tamilnadu, 29 from Karnataka, 25 from Uttar Pradesh, 21 from Kerala, 15 from Haryana, 13 from Andhra Pradesh, 13 from Punjab, 10 from Himachal Pradesh, 9 from Rajasthan, 9 from Manipur, 7 from Madhya Pradesh, 4 from Gujarat, 4 from Bihar, and 1 from Jharkhand. The Case Fatality Rate was 1.49% in the country on November 3, 2020.
