New Delhi : A total of 57,386 COVID-19 patients were declared cured/discharged in India during last 24 hours taking the tally to 73,73,375 at 8 am on October 30, 2020, exceeding the number of active cases (5,94,386) by a massive margin of 67,78,989. The country, on the other hand, also recorded 48,648 new COVID-19 cases during last 24 hours taking the tally to 80,88,851 cases recorded till date. The number of active cases was 7.35% of the total cases (80,88,851)on October 30, 2020.

Of the 80,88,851 COVID-19 cases recorded so far in India, altogether 73,73,375 patients have been declared cured with the recovery rate being 91.15%. The country has tested 10,77,28,088 samples so far including 11,64,648 samples on October 29, 2020, according to Union Health Ministry figure.

The COVID-19 toll climbed to 1,21,090 on October 30, 2020, with 563 new deaths being recorded in the country during last 24 hours including 156 from Maharashtra, 61 from West Bengal, 53 from Chhattisgarh, 45 from Karnataka, 35 from Tamilnadu, 27 from Delhi, 26 from Kerala, 25 from Uttar Pradesh, 16 from Andhra Pradesh, 16 from Madhya Pradesh, 13 from Odisha, 11 from Rajasthan, 10 from Odisha, 8 rom Haryana, 7 from Bihar, 4 from Gujarat, and 3 from Jharkhand. The Case Fatality Rate was 1.50% in the country on October 30, 2020.

COVID-19 death toll in India on October 30, 2020, is : Maharashtra (43,710), Tamilnadu (11,053), Karnataka (11,091), Delhi (6,423), Andhra Pradesh (6,659), Uttar Pradesh (6,983), West Bengal (6,725), Gujarat (3,705), Madhya Pradesh (2,929), Rajasthan (1,888),  Punjab (4,168), Telengana (1,330), J&K (1,466), Haryana (1,766), Bihar (1,076), Odisha (1,297), Jharkhand (883), Assam (923), Uttarakhand (1,009), Kerala (1,429),  Chhattisgarh (1,989), Puducherry (592), Goa (597), Tripura (346), Chandigarh (225),  Andaman & Nicobar (59), Himachal Pradesh (306), Ladakh (74), Manipur (160), Nagaland (35), Meghalaya (87), Arunachal Pradesh (37), Sikkim (67), and Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu (2 ).
