Patna : Covid-19 cases in Bihar increased to 2,62,066 in Bihar on February 20, 2021, as 57 more persons including 8 from Nawada, 7 each from Patna and Muzaffarpur, 6 from Gaya, 4 from Bhagalpur, 3 each from Purnia and Lakhisarai, and 2 each from Aurangabad, Begusarai, East Champaran, Sitamarhi, Supaul, and West Champaran, tested positive for the pandemic on February 19, 2021.
Of the 2,62,066 Covid-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar, a total of 2,60,030 patients have been declared cured including 57 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) being 99.22%. The state has tested 2,21,87,704 samples so far including 31,983 samples on February 19, 2021. The active cases dropped to 501 in Bihar on February 20, 2021.
The Covid-19 toll climbed to 1,534 in Bihar on February 20, 2021, with 2 new deaths being recorded in Patna in last 24 hours. With this, the toll increased to 439 in Patna on February 20, 201.
