New Delhi : Altogether 50,326 COVID-19 patients were declared cured/discharged in India during last 24 hours taking the tally to 80,13,783 at 8 am on November 11, 2020, exceeding the number of active cases (4,94,657) by a huge margin of 75,19,126. The country also recorded 44,281 new COVID-19 cases during last 24 hours taking the tally of cases recorded so far to 86,36,011. The number of active cases was 5.73% of the total cases (86,36,011) on November 11, 2020, a drop of 6,557 cases during last 24 hours.
Of the 86,36,011 COVID-19 cases recorded so far in India, a total of 80,13,783 patients have been declared cured with the recovery rate being 92.79%. The country has tested 12,07,69,151 samples so far including 11,53,294 samples on November 10, 2020.
The COVID-19 toll climbed to 1,27,571 on November 11, 2020, with 512 new deaths being recorded in the country during last 24 hours including 110 from Maharashtra, 83 from Delhi, 53 from West Bengal, 30 from Uttar Pradesh, 28 from Kerala, 25 from Tamilnadu, 20 from Karnataka, 20 from Punjab, 18 from Chhattisgarh, 16 from Haryana, 13 from Odisha, 12 from Andhra Pradesh, 12 from Himachal Pradesh, 10 from Rajasthan, 8 from Madhya Pradesh, 7 ffrom J&K, 5 from Bihar, 5 from Jharkhand, and 5 from Gujarat.The Case Fatality Rate was 1.48% in the country on November 11, 2020. India had recorded 448 new deaths the previous day.
