5 Principal Secretary rank IAS officers notified as Addl. Chief Secretaries

Patna : Bihar Government on October 24, 2018, re-designated four senior IAS officers of Bihar as Additional Chief Secretary though they would continue to function as Principal Secretaries of the departments they posted in.

The four IAS officers are : Triparari Sharan, 1985 batch, Principal Secretary, Environment & Forest, Amir Subhani, 1987 batch and Principal Secretary, Home Department, Atul Prasad, 1987 batch and Principal Secretary, Social Welfare Department, and R K Mahajan, 1987 batch and Principal Secretary, Education Department.

The General Administration Department issued a notification to this effect on October 24 itself. The Government had on October 23 notified 5 Principal Secretary rank posts as that of Additional Chief Secretary rank.
