Patna : Two 1996 batch Bihar IAS officers currently on central deputation : Bipin Kumar and Rahul Singh, were on January 6, 2021, granted proforma promotion to the rank of High Administrative Grade with effect from January 1, 2021. Bipin Kumar is holding the post of Joint Secretary, School Education & Literacy Department, GoI, while Rahul Singh is posted as Joint Secretary, Presidency Secretariat, G-20 and BRICs, Personnel and Training Department, GoI.
Two 2005 batch Bihar cadre IAS officers currently on central deputation were on January 6, 2021, granted proforma promotion to the rank Secretary rank. The two IAS officer : Ajay Yadav and Kuldeep Narayan. They have been granted promotion with effect from January 6, 2021.
Dr Ashima Jain, a 2008 batch Bihar cadre IAS officer currently on central deputation posted as Deputy Secretary, Union Finance Ministry, was on January 6, 2021, granted proforma promotion to the rank of Special Secretary with effect from January 1, 2021.
The General Administration Department, Bihar Government, issued notification regarding these promotions on January 6, 2021.
