Patna : Bihar Government on May 30, 2018, deputed 5 officers of Bihar Administrative Service (BAS) in the rank of ADM and Deputy Secretary to Collectorate, Nalanda, from June 1 to June 16, 2018, to maintain law & order during Rajgir Malmas Mela 2018. They have asked to give their joining before DM, Nalanda district, and act as per his direction. The General Administration Department (GAD) issued a notification to this effect on May 30.
The five BAS officers deputed to Nalanda are : Ranjit Kumar, Mahavir Prasad, Anuj Kumar, Anil Kumar Singh, and Sriprakash. They will revert to their respective posts after the end of their deputation period. Rajgir Malmas Mela, which started on May 16, will conclude on June 13, 2018.
