New Delhi : Altogether 49,079 COVID-19 patients were declared cured/discharged in India during last 24 hours taking the tally to 81,15,580 at 8 am on November 13, 2020, exceeding the number of active cases (4,84,547) by a massive margin of 76,31,033. The country, however, also recorded 44,879 new COVID-19 cases during last 24 hours taking the tally cases recorded so far to 87,28,795 on November 13, 2020. The number of active cases in the country was 5.55% of the total cases (87,28,795) on November 13, a drop of 4,747 cases during last 24 hours.
Of the 87,28,795 COVID-19 cases recorded till date in the country, a total of 81,15,580 patients have been declared cured with the recovery rate being 92.97%. India has tested 12,31,01,739 samples so far including 11,39,230 samples on November 12, 2020.
The COVID-19 toll climbed to 1,28,668 in India on November 13, 2020, with 547 new deaths being recorded during last 24 hours including 122 from Maharashtra, 104 from Delhi, 54 from West Bengal, 25 from Kerala, 25 from Tamilnadu, 23 from Punjab, 21 from Karnataka, 21 from Uttar Pradesh, 20 from Chhattisgarh, 19 from Haryana, 14 from Odisha, 13 from Rajasthan, 10 from Madhya Pradesh, 9 from Andhra Pradesh, 9 from Gujarat, 7 from Uttarakhand, 6 from Himachal Pradesh, 5 from Bihar, and 4 from Jharkhand. The Case Fatality Rate was 1.47% in the country on November 13, 2020.
