New Delhi : A total of 43,082 Covid-19 cases were recorded during last 24 hours in India taking the tally to 93,09,787 in the country at 8 am on November 27, 2020, continuing the rising trend for the third consecutive day. In sharp contrast, only 39,379 Covid-19 patients were declared cured/discharged in the country during last 24 hours taking the tally to 87,18,517 on November 27, 2000, exceeding the number of active cases (4,55,555) by a stupendous margin of 82,62,962.
Of the 93,09,787 Covid-19 cases recorded in the country till date, altogether 87,18,517 patients have been declared cured / discharged with the recovery rate being 93.65%. The number of active cases was 4.89 % of the total cases on November 27, 2020, an addition of 3,211 cases during last 24 hours. India has tested 13,70,62,749 samples so far including 11,31,204 samples on November 26, 2020.
The Covid-19 climbed to 1,35,715 on November 27, 2020, with 492 new deaths during last 24 hours including 91 from Delhi, 65 from Maharashtra, 52 from West Bengal, 30 from Uttar Pradesh, 27 from Kerala, 26 from Punjab, 25 from Haryana, 19 from Rajasthan, 18 from Chhattisgarh, 17 from Odisha, 16 from Gujarat, 14 from Tamilnadu, 14 from Himachal Pradesh, 12 from Karnataka, 12 from Madhya Pradesh, 8 from Andhra Pradesh, 6 from Bihar, and 3 from Jharkhand. The Case Fatality Rate was 1.46% in the country on November 27, 2020. India had recorded 524 new deaths on November 26, 2020.
