43 VKSU Colleges yet to upload academic & infrastructure related data on AISHE portal

Ara : Direction from Bihar Governor’s Secretariat, and  Department of Higher Education, Government of Bihar, notwithstanding, 43 colleges under Veer Kuer Singh University (VKSU), Ara, are yet upload their academic and basic infrastructure related data on AISHE portal. Union HRD Ministry had sought academic and basic infrastructure data from colleges of every university in Bihar under All India Survey on Higher Education (AISHE) for academic session 2019-2020.

The VKSU administration has taken it very seriously and served notices on recalcitrant colleges warning them of stern action if they fail to upload the required data by March 20, 2020.

Registrar, VKSU, S N Jha said that as per the direction of Union HRD Ministry, Higher Education Department, GoI, and Government of Bihar, all the colleges under VKSU had to upload their academic and basic infrastructure data on the AISHE portal through the user ID of the college  and the VKSU administration had on February 5, 2020, also directed the Principals of colleges to abide by the order but 43 colleges under the university were yet to comply with the order which is dereliction of duty. He said that he has asked the Principals of the colleges concerned to upload the required data by  March 20, 2020, failing which disciplinary action would be initiated against them and added that the portal would also be closed after March 20, 2020.

The Registrar said that constituent colleges like H D Jain College, Ara, S P Jain College, Sasaram, and affiliated colleges like TSI, Woman College, Ara, Al-Hafeez College, Ara, Dr K K Mandal College, Jagdishpur, Sri Shanta Barhana Woman College, Jagdishpur, BSS College, Bachari, Piro, M G College, Laharabad, Jan Sahkari College, Gadhani, Dr K K Mandal College, Buxar, P C College, Buxar, M S College, Dumraon, D K M College, Dumari, HNSB Janata College, Dhansoi, J K T Law College, Buxar, R K S College, Dalmianagar, J J College, Dehari-on Sone, G N Mishra College, Parsathua, Patel College, Ghosia Khurd, Bikramganj, R N Sah Sarvodaya College, Ganj Bhadsara, IDBPS College, Gad Nokha, B S College, Hata Chenari, ITSM College, Bikramganj, Dr B P Singh College, Simari, S P S  Samata College, Dinara, VKS College, Dharupur, R M Devi C D Rai College, Nuwan, Kochas, U C M College, Udaypur, Sanjhauli, V K S Woman College, Kashi, Medanipur, B N College, Bhabhua, B N College, Indaur, B G College, Bhabhua, S S S Woman College, Bhabhua, R S D College, Bhagwanpur, M P College, Mohania, Rohtas Law College, Sasaram, and B. Ed College, Parsathua, Matriprem College of Education, Chilhari, Buxar, G D Mishra Institute of Education, Buxar have not uploaded the required date on the portal.
