Gopalganj: A group of 41 undertrial prisoners would go for pisciculture after their release from Thawe divisional jail in Gopalganj district. They would also  get loans for the purpose from the department concerned.

It may be mentioned here that a training programme was organized inside the jail at the instance of Gopalganj DM Rahul Kumar for the welfare of the undertrial prisoners to ensure they do not return to the crime world again after their release from the jail.The six -day training programme concluded on December 18.

Addressing the prisoners in presence of jail officials, District Fisheries Officer Suryaprakash Ram distributed training certificates among the prisoners. He said that it was an attempt to ensure the undertrial prisoners after their release joind the mainstream of the   society. He assuring that the department concerned would  provide them loans for starting any business. Jail superintendent Sandip Kumar said that such training programmes would be organized on regular basis.
