Patna : Te number of Covid-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar rose to 2,62,820 on March 9, 2021, as 41 more persons including 19 from Patna, 4 from Muzaffarpur, 3 each from East Champaran and Nawada, and 2 from Samastipur, tested positive for the pandemic on March 8, 2021. The number of active cases increased to 297 in Bihar including 144 in Patna on March 9, 2021, from 289 on March 8.
Of the 2,62,820 Covid-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar, altogether 2,60,975 patients have been declared cured including 33 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) being 99.30% on March 9, 2021. Bihar has tested 2,26,81,679 samples so far including 19,134 samples on March 8, 2021. The Covid-19 toll remained pegged at 1,547 in Bihar including 445 in Patna on March 9, 2021.
