4 persons arrested with body of 8 yr old girl in Sitamarhi

Sitamarhi : The locals chased and caught an autorickshaw with four persons carrying body of an  eight year girl near Rajopatti area of Sitamarhi town on August 6, 2018. The minor girl was missing from her Rajopatti home since July 31, 2018. After thrashing, they were handed over to Mehsaul police outpost (OP).

The arrested persons  identified as Md. Aashiq Ansari, Nek Muhammad, Aalim Ansari, and Md. Ezamul, residents of village Dihthi under Bathanaha police station in Sitamarhi district, are said to be relations of the deceased.
According to SHO, Mehsaul OP, Aman Asharaf, prima facie this is a case of death due to strangulation. Investigation is underway from different angles, said Asharaf and added that more arrest might follow.
