Ara : Rohtas police with the help of their Bhojpur counterpart arrested four members of inter-district Kodha gang from Sri Tola under Nawada police station, Ara, on April 12, 2018, late evening, and seized Rs 4 lakh cash, one dozen cellphones and a motorcycle from their possession.
SHO, Nawada police station, said that the four members of Kodha gang from Kodha locality in Katihar district were living at a rented house of a retired Subedar R K Paswan at Sri Tola under Nawada police station for the last five months as agents of a product company. They had unleashed terror in Buxar, Bhojpur, Buxar and Kaimur district and police were searching for them. The members of the gang commit crimes in these districts during day hour only.
Rohtas police got some clue through mobile surveillance and reached Ara on April 12 evening and with the help of their Bhojpur counterpart conducted raid at their house and arrested four members of the gang.
