4 labourers injured after power tower fell on them at Ara

Ara : A power tower pole fell on four labourers injuring them seriously on January 28, 2019. Later, they were admitted to Sadar Hospital, Ara, where their condition is stated to be stable. The injured persons were identified as Gopi Chaudhary, Ranjeet Chaudhary, Yishu Chaudhary, and Vikas Chaudhary.

The Executive Engineer, South Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited (SBPDCL), said that power supply was stopped at Ara and adjoining areas since morning on January 28, 2019, for maintenance at Power Grid in Dhobighatawa locality under Ara Town police station in Bhojpur district and employees of the department and some labourers were engaged in the maintenance work. Suddenly, he said, a power tower fell on four labourers injuring them seriously.
