Patna : Bihar Government on February 8, 2019, promoted four IPS officers of 2005 batch to the rank of DIG. The four IPS officers are : Prakash Nath Mishra, Ravindra Kumar, Dr Parvez Akhtar, and Rajiv Ranjan.
They have been promoted to Pay Level – 13A in the Pay Matrix Rs 1,31,100 – Rs 2,16,600. They would get financial benefit of their promotion to the DIG rank after the notification of their new postings is issued. The Home (Police) department issued a notification to this effect on February 8, 2019.
