Bokaro ( Jharkhand)  : Four Class X students of DPS Bokaro, Jharkhand,  Anshuman Bharadwaj, Akshara Roy Sharma, Vaishnavi Kumari, and Ayushman Dutta, won the German scholarship and participated at the prestigious Pasch Youth camp conducted in virtual mode.

These four students were selected for this German Scholarship based on their German proficiency at Level A1 Certificate Examination followed by an online interview. Initially, the camp was to be conducted at Hamburg, Germany, for 2 weeks but due to Covid pandemic it was held online.

Students across the globe enthusiastically participated at the camp wherein they got an opportunity to deliberate on topics like Sustainable Development, Climate Change, Waste Management, Schools of the Future, and How the youth can shape the future under the guidance of a German Iinstructor.

The students had exposure to hands-on-learning in working on projects like making memes, best out of waste, and short films to create Social awareness. Through the cultural exchange segment of the camp, students had a glimpse of the culture of Germany and how the schools and cities work there. The students received a Bluetooth Headphone, a Bluetooth Speaker, and a Certificate each.

A delighted Principal, DPS Bokaro, A S Gangwar, said that such opportunities provide a platform wherein the children can explore new dimensions to life. The global exposure will definitely help the students adopt a wider perspective to embrace the vitality of the diverse culture, Gangwar added.
