4 Chief Engineers, 7 EEs of WRD found absent during mobile phone tracking

Patna : Four Chief Engineers (CEs) and 7 Executive Engineers (EEs) of Water Resources Department (WRD) were found absent from their respective places of posting during mobile phone tracking carried out by Joint Secretary of the department Gorakhnath, IAS, on January 9, 2019.

The four CEs found absent during mobile phone tracking were : Satish Kumar, CE, Flood Control & Drainage, Samastipur, Shashi Shekhar Pandey, CE, lood Control & Drainage, Katihar, Suresh Chaudhary, CE, Irrigation, Gaya, and Prakash Das, CE, Flood Control & Drainage, Birpur, according to a WRD release.

The 7 EEs found absent in mobile tracking were : Abdul Qayyum, EE, Irrigation Mechanical Division, Valmikinagar, Anwar Alam, EE, Irrigation Mechanical Division, Chhapra, Satish Kumar Verma, EE, Tirhut Canal Division-1, Bettiah, Satish Kumar, EE, Irrigation Division, Araria, Vinod Kumar, EE, Flood Control & Drainage, Chhapra, Harekrishna Prasad, EE, Flood Control Division, Siwan, and Nawal Kishore Singh, EE, Drainage Division, Siwan.

Mobile phones of several other engineers including that of a Superitending Engineer were found switched off during mobile tracking.
