Gaya : Police arrested four members of an inter-state gang of bank looters under Sherghati police station in Gaya district on May 2, 2017, evening. Gaya SSP Garima Malik on May 3 said that the gang was involved in loot of bank cash at several places in Bihar, Jharkhand and Bengal.
Police seized more than 5.5 kg gold, Rs two lakh cash, six countrymade pistols, 34 live rounds, nine cellphones from the possession of the four arrested criminals. The arrested criminals have admitted their involvement in several incidents of bank loot including the Banka dacoity in 2017.
