New Delhi : A total of 37,725 Covid-19 Covid-19 patients were declared cured/discharged during last 24 hours in India during last 24 hours taking the tally to 92,53,306 at 8 am on December 10, 2020, exceeding the number active cases (3,72,293) by a stupendous margin of 88,81,013. The country, on the other hand, recorded 31,521 new Covid-19 cases during last 24 hours taking the tally of 97,67,371 cases n December 10, 2020. The number of active cases was 3.81% of the total cases on December 10, 2020, a drop of 6,616 cases during last 24 hours.
Of the 97,67,371 Covid-19 cases recorded so far in the country, altogether 92,53,306 patients have been declared cured with the recovery rate being 97.74%. India has tested 15,07,59,726 samples so far including 9,22, 959 samples on December 9, 2020.
The Covid-19 toll climbed to 1,41,772 on December 10, 2020, with 412 new deaths being reported in the country during last 24 hours including 75 from Maharashtra, 50 from Delhi, 47 from West Bengal, 35 from Kerala, 26 from Haryana, 20 from Uttar Pradesh, 20 from Karnataka, 17 from Rajasthan, 16 from Punjab, 14 from Tamilnadu, 13 from Gujarat, 13 from Chhattisgarh, 12 from Himachal Pradesh, 8 from Madhya Pradesh, 3 from Andhra Pradesh, 3 from Jharkhand, and 3 from Bihar. The Case Fatality Rate was 1.45% in the country on December 10, 2020. India had recorded 402 new deaths on December 9, 2020.
