New Delhi : The number of Coronavirus (COVID-19) declared cured rose to 3,59,859 in India at 8 am on July 2, 2020, an increase of 11,881 during last 24 hours exceeding the number of active cases by 1,32,912. The number of active cases stands at 2,26,947 in the country.
Coronavirus death toll, on the other hand, has jumped to 17,837 with 437 new deaths being reported from different parts of the country including 198 from Maharashtra, 63 from Tamilnadu, 61 from Delhi, 21, from Gujarat, 21 from UP, and 15 from West Bengal, during last 24 hours.
As far Coronavirus patients getting cured goes, a total of 93,154 patients have been declared cured in Maharashtra followed by 59,992 in Delhi, 52,926 in Tamilnadu, 24,030 in Gujarat, 16,629 in UP, 14,574 in Rajasthan, 12,528 in West Bengal, 10,655 in Madhya Pradesh, 10,499 in Haryana, 8,082 in Telengana, 8,063 in Karnataka, 7,946 in Bihar, 6,988 in Andhra Pradesh, and 4,856 in J&K.
COVID-19 death toll break-up in India is : Maharashtra (8,063), Delhi (2,803), Gujarat (1,867), Tamilnadu (1,264), UP (718), West Bengal (683), MP (581), Rajasthan (421), Telengana (267), Karnataka (253), Haryana (240), Andhra Pradesh (193), Punjab (149), J&K (105), Bihar (73), Uttarakhand (41), Odisha (25), Kerala (24), Jharkhand (15), Chhattisgarh (14), Assam (12), Puducherry (12), Himachal Pradesh (10), Chandigarh (6), Goa (4), Arunachal Pradesh (1), Ladakh(1), Meghalaya (1), and Tripura (1).
