Ara : A two- day acupressure camp organized jointly under the banner of Orien Educational and Welfare Society and Ayush College, Hospital and Research Centre, to mark the National Acupressure Day concluded on May 20, 2018.
Deputy Superintendent, Ara Sadar Hospital, Dr Satish Kumar Sinha, Dr Deepak, Dr Nirmala Sinha, Dr Ram Krishna, Deepa Kumari, Renu Devi, Arti Srivastava, Narad Muni and others were present on the occasion. At least 3,500 patients were examined and given treatment at the two- day free acupressure camp.
Dr Satish Kumar Sinha said that acupressure is beneficial in incurable diseases and patients suffering from acute joint pains and tension recover easily through acupressure therapy and lead a tension free life.
Civil Surgeon, Bhojpur, Dr Ras Bihari Singh and other allopathic doctors in Bhojpur district are also taking acupressure treatment as this therapy is harmless and curing all types of diseases without any side effects.
Dr Ram Krishna, who runs an Ultrasound centre, said that no therapy can be better than acupressure. He recommended acupressure therapy to his patients. He said that he himself was taking acupressure therapy and got rid of all pains.
