Patna : Bihar Government on March 27, 2018, notified 32 officers of Bihar Administrative Service (BAS) as IAS officers. The Personnel & Training Department, Government of India, had notified their selection as IAS officers ( Bihar cadre) on March 14, 2018. They have been promoted to the IAS rank against the vacancies that existed in 2013, 2014, and 2015.

The BAS officers promoted to the IAS rank are : Sanwar Bharti, Radha Kishore Jha, Shiv Shankar Mishra, Arun Prakash, Kumar Arun Prakash, Bharat Kumar Dubey, Ratnesh Kumar, Vinod Kumar Singh, Narendra Kumar Sinha, Chandrashekhar Singh, Ranjan Kumar Sinha, Pradip Kumar, Abhay Raj, Mithilesh Kumar, Ishwar Chandra Sinha, Gorakhnath, Madhurani Thakur, Vijay Kumar, Keshav Ranjan Prasad, Durgesh Nadan, Khurshid Alam Khan, Vivekanand Jha, Arshad Aziz, Surendra Jha, Chaudhary Anant Narayan, Mohammad Shamim, Mohammad Bashir, Mohammad Manzoor Ali, Dr  Shyamal Kishore Pathak, Shobhendra Kumar Chaudhary, Harendra Nath Dubey, and Ishwar Chandra Sharma.

The General Administration Department (GAD), Bihar Government, issued a notification to this effect on March 27, 2018.
