Bagaha : A National Lok Adalat was organised on Civil Court premises at Bagaha on December 8, 2018, under the supervision of ADJ (1st) Durgesh Mani Tripathi and Sub-Judge (1st) Sagir Alam.  Seven tables were set up for amicable settlement of various kind of cases.

The nationalized banks had brought in altogether 4,225 cases of which 313 cases were settled amicably with recovery of over Rs 1.05 crore from defaulters while Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) settled 40 cases recovering Rs 1,34,373 from subscribers. Only 99 compoundable criminal cases were settled out of 190 cases while 208 cases of 107 CRPC of SDM court, Bagaha, were also disposed of on the occasion. The electricity and labour dispute cases were not put up for disposal at Lok Adalat. The last National Lok Adalat was held on September 8, 2018.
