Patna : Covid-19 cases in Bihar increased to 2,62,758 on March 7, 2021, as 30 more persons including 13 from Patna, 3 from Begusarai, and 2 each from East Champaran, Madhepura, and Madhubani, tested positive for the pandemic on March 6, 2021. The active cases dropped to 312 in Bihar including 133 in Patna on March 7, 2021, from 333 on March 6.
Of the 2,62,758 Covid-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar, a total of 2,60,899 patients have been declared cured including 50 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) being 99.29%. Bihar has tested 2,26,47,925 samples so far including 24,542 samples on March 6, 2021.
The Covid-19 toll in Bihar increased to 1,546 on March 7, 2021, with 1 new death being recorded in Nawada in last 24 hours. With it, the toll increased to 26 in Nawada.
