Motihari : Three persons were killed and 5 others injured on September 17, 2019, different villages in East Champaran District in North Bihar in lightning strike during heavy rains.
According to reports, one person was killed at village Bindwalya under Gobindganj police station area after lightning struck close to his house while two teenage girls died at village Varkurawa under Rajepur police station and village Mehasi under the same police station when they were working in agriculture fields. The bodies were sent to Motihari Sadar Hospital for autopsy.
