Patna : Teaching in the three newly established university of Bihar – Purnia, Patliputra, and Munger – would start from the next academic session. A decision to this effect was taken at the monthly meeting of vice-chancellors (VCs) held at Raj Bhavan. Principal Secretary to Governor Vivek Kumar Singh and Principal Secretary, Education Department, R K Mahajan, and senior officials Governor’s Secretariat and Education Department attended the meeting.

Except for Patna University, all the universities of the state were directed to start online admission from the next academic session. They were also directed to co-ordinate with Bihar School Examination Board in this connection. All the varsities were asked to hold their pending examinations at the earliest.
