Patna :  Strong will and  positive thinking with  action on the ground always leads to fruitful results and that is what happened when several like minded  intellectual of Patna led by some retired IAS and IPS officers, teachers , bankers, technocrats, businessmen  and journalists  constituted ‘Minds Together Group’  which in its very first year succeeded in facilitating 30 aspirants crack Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) and getting selected for the posts of DSPs, deputy collectors, finance service, education service, election service, and other gazetted posts.

Altogether 68 candidates who had qualified for interview after the written exam came for training cum coaching to  ‘Minds Together Group’ (MTG) of which 30  not only made themselves proud but even the group which not only groomed  the candidates with soft skills and knowledge and but also raised their confidence level.

At a function held by Like Minded group on September 16, 2018, evening, at Patna, all the successful students narrated their experiences and interacted with mentors later taking oath  and pledge that they will serve the country  and society as per framed rule and regulations  maintaining ethics and give their best for a better tomorrow.

“There is no dearth  of talent  and merit in students of Bihar but many still lack soft skills, dress sense, pronouncing words correctly, and presenting themselves  in proper way even if they did not know right answer, which was what  the mentors  taught at MT,” stated former a chief secretary rank officer of Bihar IAS Sudhir Kumar Rakesh, the person behind forming this group.

“We roped in  experts  known for their ethics  and character  who were ready to work for us free with a mission to serve the society  which included  senior retired bureaucrat Rameshwar Singh, retired IPS Rajvardhan Sharma, senior teachers Daisy Narain, Imtiaz Ahmad, Shefali Roy, Balram Tewary, Rimjhim besides others famous personalities of Bihar, Sanjay Kundan, Om Prakash, K K Verma, Binod Chowdhry, Ashish Das Gupta, Daya Shankar, Prahlad Baitha,  Radha Mohan, Harikant Rai, Ranajee Mehta, Shyamanand Chowdhry, Mahendra, Alok Singh, Sunil Dubey, Samir Mahaseth, and several others who supported this mission,” said Rakesh.

The logo  of our group is  ‘Building Tomorrow Today’ and  so have to labour very hard  to scale new heights  as expectations will increase with each passing year but with mission to do the best for society I am very hopeful, all our all mentors will give in their best for building better Bihar and better India, “ said Rakesh, a former Chief Electoral Officer of Bihar.

Sharing their experience successful candidates : Akash Yadav, Ved Richa, Manisha, Vandana Sinha, Saket Kumar, Rajeev Roshan said that the first day when they attended their first class at MT, they feared facing interview but once they took few classes and valuable tips on personality development, they knew the goal was not far off.
