Patna : The Covid-19 cases rose to 2,61,447 in Bihar on February 9, 2021, afternoon, as 92 more persons including including 18 from Patna, 11 from Gaya, 7 from Samastipur, 6 from Banka, 4 from Jamui, and 3 each from Arwal, Aurangabad, Begusarai, Bhagalpur, Jehanabad, Vaishali, and West Champaran, tested positive for the pandemic on February 8, 2021.
Of the 2,61,447 Covid-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar, altogether 2,59,174 patients have been declared cured including 120 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) being 99.13 %. The state has tested 2,16,64,852 samples so far including 73,556 samples on February 8, 2021. The number of active cases in Bihar was only 754 on February 9, 2021.
The Covid-19 toll increased to 1,518 in Bihar on February 9, 2021, with one new death being recorded in Patna in last 24 hours. With it, the toll increased to 428 in Patna on February 9.
