Patna : A total of 259 persons including 76 from Patna, 20 from West Champaran, 19 from Muzaffarpur, 16 from Jehanabad, 12 each from Gaya and Saran, 11 from Buxar, 9 each from Madhubani and Munger, 8 from Nalanda, 6 each from Araria and Bhojpur, 5 each from Bhagalpur and Purnia, 4 each from Darbhanga, East Champaran, and Samastipur, and 3 each from Madhepura, Siwan, Supaul, and Vaishali, tested positive for Covid-19 on March 30, 2021, in Bihar taking the tally of active cases in the state to 1,579 including 641 in Patna on March 31, 2021. The number of active cases in Bihar was 1,455 on March 30, 2021.

The Covid-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar rose to 2,65,527 on March 31, 2021, of which 2,62,371 patients have been declared cured including 133 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) dropping to 98.81% from 98.86% on March 30, 2021. Bihar has tested 23701470 samples so far including 50,515 samples on March 30, 2021.

The Covid-19 toll climbed to 1,576 in Bihar on March 31, 2021, with 2 new deaths being recorded in Patna in last 24 hours. With it, the toll increased to 462 in Patna on March 31, 2021.
