Patna : Covid-19 cases rose to 2,61,299 in Bihar on February 7, 2021, as 53 more persons including 16 from Patna, 5 from Vaishali, 4 fro Saran, 3 each from Gaya, Muzaffarpur, and Sheohar, and 2 each from Arwal, Banka, East Champaran, Jehanabad, Rohtas, and Samastipur, tested positive for the pandemic on February 6, 2021.
Of the 2,61,299 Covid-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar, altogether 2,58,925 patients have been declared cured including 84 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) being 99.09%. the number of active cases in Bihar was 857 on February 7, 2021. The state has tested 21530827 samples so far including 72,489 samples on February 6, 2021.
The Covid-19 toll increaed to 1,516 in Bihar on February 7, 2021, with only one new deaths being recorded in Patna in last 24 hours. With it, the toll increased to 426 in Patna on February 7, 2021.
