Patna : The Covid-19 cases climbed to 2,61,158 cases in Bihar on February 5, 2021, afternoon, as 90 more persons including 33 from Patna, 11 from Gaya, 8 from Bhagalpur, 5 from Kaimur, 4 from Saharsa, 3 each from Aurangabad, Begusarai, Bhojpur, Muzaffarpur, and Sheohar, and 2 each from Purnia, Rohtas, and East Champaran, tested positive for the pandemic on February 4, 2021.
Of the 2,61,158 Covid-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar, altogether 2,58,757 patients have been declared cured including 201 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) being 99.08%. The number of active cases in the state was 886 on February 5, 2021. Bihar has tested 2,13,83,874 samples so far including 74,407 samples on February 4, 2021.
The Covid-19 toll increased to 1,514 in Bihar on February 5, 2021, with 2 new deaths being recorded in the state in last 24 hours 1 each in Patna and Muzaffarpur. The toll increased to 424 in Patna and 51 in Muzaffarpur on February 5, 2021.
