Patna : Covid-19 cases recorded in Bihar rose to 2,61,004, on February 3, 2021, afternoon, as 92 more persons including 38 from Patna, 7 each from Aurangabad and Begusarai, 4 each from Gaya and Vaishali, 3 each from Kaimur, Madhubani, and Saran, and 2 each from Bhojpur, Jamui, Munger, Nalanda, and Rohtas, tested positive for the pandemic in last 24 hours.
Of the 2,61,004 Covid-19 cases recorded so ar in Bihar, a total of 2,58,447 patients have been declared cured including 138 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) being 99.02%. The number of active cases in Bihar was 1,044 on February 3, 2021. The state has tested 2,12,35,979 samples so far including 75,743 samples on February 2, 2021.
The Covid-19 toll jumped to 1,510 in Bihar on February 3, 2021, with 3 new deaths being recorded in the state in last 24 hours including 1 each from Patna, Muzaffarpur,and Darbhanga. The toll increased to 421 in Patna, 50 in Muzaffarpur, and 39 in Darbhanga on February 3, 2021.
