Patna : Covid-19 cases roses to 2,60.912 in Bihar on February 2, 2021, afternoon, as 118 more persons including 28 from Patna, 13 from Lakhisarai, 10 from Gaya, 8 from Aurangabad, 7 from Nawada, 6 each from Vaishali and Saran, 5 each from Purnia, Begusarai, and Muzaffarpur, and 4 from Samastipur tested positive for the pandemic on February 1, 2021.
Of the 2,60,912 Covid-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar, altogether 2,58,309 patients have been declared cured including 173 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) being 99%. The state has tested 21160236 samples so far including 73,263 samples on February 1, 2021. The number of active cases in Bihar was 1,095 on February 2, 2021.
The Covid-19 toll jumped to 1,507 in Bihar on February 2, 2021, with 4 new deaths being recorded in the state in last 24 hours including 3 in Patna and 1 in Darbhanga. The toll increased to 420 in Patna and 38 in Darbhanga on February 2, 2021.
