Patna : Covid-19 cases recorded in Bihar rose to 2,60,794 on February 1, 2021, afternoon, as 75 more persons including 29 from Patna, 6 from Gopalganj, 5 each from Begusarai and Sitamarhi, 4 from Nalanda, and 3 each from Gaya, Lakhisarai, Vaishali, and West Champaran, tested positive for the pandemic on January 31, 2021.
Of the 2,60,794 Covid-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar, a total of 2,58,136 patients have been declared cured including 118 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate being 98.98%. The number of active cases in Bihar was 1,154 on February 1, 2021. Bihar has tested 2,10,86,973 samples so far including 65,323 samples on January 31, 2021.
The Covid-19 toll increased to 1,503 in Bihar on February 1, 2021, with 2 new deaths being recorded in the state in last 24 hours including 1 each in Patna and Muzaffarpur. The toll increased to 417 in Patna and 49 in Muzaffarpur on February 1, 2021.
