Patna : The Covid-19 cases recorded in Bihar so far rose to 2,60,719 on January 31, 2021, afternoon, as 116 more persons including 40 from Aurangabad, 36 from Patna, 7 from Gaya, 5 from Purnia, 4 from Siwan, and 3 each from Lakhisarai, Madhubani, and Saran, tested positive for the pandemic on January 30, 2021.
Of the 2,60,719 Covid-19 recorded in Bihar till date, altogether 2,58,018 patients have been declared cured including 162 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) being 98.96%. The number of active case in Bihar was 1,199 on January 31, 2021. The state has tested 2,10,21,650 samples so far including 75,268 samples on January 30, 2021.
The Covid-19 toll in Bihar increased to 1,501 on January 31, 2021, with 2 new deaths being recorded in the state in last 24 hours including 1 each in Patna and Vaishali. The toll climbed to 416 in Patna and 49 in Vaishali on January 31, 2021.
