Patna : Covid-19 cases recorded in Bihar increased to 2,60,603 on January 30, 2021, afternoon, as 123 more persons including 52 from Patna, 12 from Gaya, 11 from Aurangabad, 7 from Kaimur, 5each from Begusarai and Samastipur, and 3 each from Arwal, Lakhisarai, Nalanda, Rohtas, Siwan, and Vaishali, tested positive for the pandemic on January 29, 2021.
Of the 2,60,603 Covid-19 cases recorded in Bihar so far, altogether 2,57,856 patients have been declared cured including 187 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) being 98.95%. The number of active cases in Bihar was 1,247 on January 30, 2021. The state has tested 2,09,46,382 samples so far including 81,541 samples on January 29, 2021.
The Covid-19 toll in Bihar jumped to 1,499 on January 30, 2021, with 4 new deaths being recorded in the state in last 24 hours including 2 in Patna and 2 in Saran.The toll increased to 415 in Patna and 64 in Saran on January 30, 2021
