Patna : The number of Covid-19 recorded in Bihar rose to 2,60,480 on January 29, 2021, afternoon, as 121 more persons including 33 from Patna, 17 from Gaya, 9 from Madhubani, 7 each from Purnia and Aurangabad, 6 from Araria, and 3 each from Banka, Begusarai, Gopalganj, Kaimur, Darbhanga, Lakhisarai, and Siwan, tested positive for the pandemic on January 28, 2021.
Of the 2,60,480 COVID-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar, altogether 2,57,669 patients have been declared cured including 278 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) being 98.92%. The number of active cases in Bihar was 1,315 on January 29,201. Bihar has tested 20864841 samples so far including 82,023 samples on January 28, 2021.
The Covid-19 toll jumped to 1,495 in Bihar on January 29, 2021, with 3 new deaths being recorded in the state in last 24 hours including 1 each in Vaishali, Munger, and East Champaran.
