Patna : The Covid-19 cases recorded in Bihar rose to 2,60,225 on January 27, 2021, afternoon, as 86 more persons including 32 in Patna, 8 in Saran, 6 in Kaimur, 5 each i n West Champaran and Lakhisarai, and 4 in Banka tested positive for the pandemic on January 26, 2021.
Of the 2,60,225 Covid-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar, altogether 2,57,122 patients have been declared cured including 722 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) being 98.80%. The number of active cases in the state dropped to 1,613 on January 27, 2021. Bihar has tested 2,07,01,517 samples so far including 60,693 samples on January 26, 2021.
The Covid-19 toll jumped to 1,490 in Bihar with 4 new deaths being recorded in the state in last 24 hours including 3 in Patna and 1 in Bhagalpur. The toll climbed to 412 in Patna and 80 in Bhagalpur on January 27, 2021.
