Patna : The Covid-19 cases recorded in Bihar climbed to 2,59,897 on January 24, 2021, afternoon, as 131 more persons including 51 from Patna, 12 from Nawada, 6 each from Darbhanga, Sitamarhi, and Vaishali, 5 each from Muzaffarpur and Saran, and 4 each from Begusarai, Kaimur, Munger, and Samastipur, tested positive for the pandemic on January b23, 2021.
Of the 2,59,897 Covi-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar, altogether 2,56,008 patients have been declared cured including 267 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) being 98.50%. The number of active cases in Bihar was 2,409 on January 24, 2021. The state has tested 2,04,91,088 samples so far including 82,907 samples on January 23, 2021.
The Covid-19 toll jumped to 1,479 in Bihar on January 24, 2021, with 3 new deaths being recorded in the state in last 24 hours including 2 in Muzaffarpur and 1 in Munger.
