Patna : The Covid-19 cases recorded in Bihar climbed to 2,59,449 in Bihar on January 21, 2021, afternoon, as 168 more persons including 73 from Patna, 7 each from Bhojpur and Darbhanga, and 6 each from Araria, Gaya, and Sheohar, tested positive for the pandemic on January 20, 2021. Meanwhile, 15,592 Corona Warriors were vaccinated against Covid-19 in Bihar at 296 Session Sites on January 21, 2021.
Of the 2,59,449 Covid-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar, altogether 2,55,080 patients have been declared cured / discharged including 315 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate being 98.32%. The number of active in Bihar was 2,900 on January 21, 2021. Bihar has tested 20237577 samples so far including 86,197 samples on January 20, 2021.
The Covid-19 toll jumped to 1,468 in Bihar on January 21, 2021, with 4 new deaths being recorded in the state including 1 each in Patna, Bhojpur, Saran, and Muzaffarpur. The toll increased to 405 in Patna on January 21, 2021.
