Patna : The Covid-19 cases recorded in Bihar rose to 2,57,629 on Janjuary 13, 2021, afternoon, as 294 more persons including 99 from Patna, 20 from Begusarai, 15 from Nalanda, 14 from Muzaffarpur, 11 each from Kaimur and Siwan, and 9 each from Aurangabad, Bhagalpur, and Rohtas, 8 from Nawada, tested positive for the pandemic on January 12, 2021.
Of the 2,57,269 Covid-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar, a total of 2,52,249 patients have been declared cured including 391 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) being 97.91 %. Bihar has tested 1,95,52,000 samples so far including 95,129 samples on January 12, 2021. The number of active cases in Bihar was 3,934 on January 13, 2021.
The Covid-19 increased to 1,445 in Bihar on January 13, 2021, with 2 new deaths being recorded in the state in last 24 hours including 1 each in Patna and Khagaria. The toll increased to 401 in Patna on January 13, 2021.
