Patna : The Covid-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar increased to 2,56,991 on January 11, 2021, afternoon, as 213 more persons including 107 from Patna and 20 from Saran tested positive for the pandemic on January 10, 2021.
According to State Health Department figure, 6 persons each from Banka, Darbhanga,and East Champaran, 5 each from West Champaran, Muzaffarpur, Sheohar, Siwan, and Araria, and 4 each from Aurangabad, Munger, and Supaul, also tested positive for Covid-19 on January 10,2021.
Of the 2,56,991 Covid-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar, altogether 2,51,644 patients have been declared cured including 378 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) being 97.92%. The number of active in Bihar was 3,907 on January 11, 2021. The state has tested 1,93,61,524 samples so far including 80,300 samples on January 10,2021.
The Covid-19 toll climbed to 1,439 in Bihar on January 11, 2021, with 5 new deaths being recorded in the state in last 24 hours including 2 in Siwan and 1 each from Patna, Saran, and Bhojpur. The toll increased to 398 in Patna on January 11, 2021.
