Patna : The Covid-19 cases recorded in Bihar rose to 2,56,778 on January 10, 2021, afternoon, as 359 more persons including 168 from Patna, 18 each from Begusarai and Saharsa, and 12 each from Siwan and Rohtas, tested positive for the pandemic on January 9, 2021.
According State Health CDepartment figure, 11 person each from Gaya and Muzaffarpur, 9 from Madhubani, 8 each from Bhojpur, Nalanda, and Saran, 7 each from Darbhanga and Jehanabad, 6 from Buxar, and 5 each from Aurangabad and Vaishali, also tested positive for Covid-19 on January 9, 2021.
Of the 2,56,778 Covid-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar, altogether 2,51,266 patients have been declared cured including 408 in lst 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) being 97.85%. The number of active cases was 4,077 in Bihar on January 10, 2021. Bihar has tested 1,92,81,224 samples so far including 1,00,487 samples on January 9, 2021.
The Covid-19 toll jumped to 1,434 in Bihar on January 10, 2021, with 4 new deaths being recorded in the state in last 24 hours including 3 in Patna and 1 in West Champaran. The toll climbed to 397 in Patna on January 10.The number of active cases in Patna was 1,56 on January 10, 2021.
